Wages/Salary: The state salary range is from $21,063.00 to $38,975.00 Annually. The minumum hiring range is $24,780.00 and the maximum is $38,975.00.

Requirements:

You will need to have atleast a 10th grade education and three and one-half (3.5) years of related trades experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations; a valid commercial driver's license. (Note): This position requires a class A commercial driver's license. However, applicants without a class A commercial driver's license will be considered if no qualified applicants with a class A commercial driver's license are available. However, applicants are required to obtain a class A commercial driver's license within six (6) months of employment. You may be required to work overtime, nights, weekends or holidays, and during inclement weather
or other emergencies.

Job Description:

You will be working under general supervision, operates various equipment needed to complete full depth paving operations including, but not limited to backhoe, motorgrader, paver and roller, operate CDL Class A combination vehicle to transport equipment and materials; perform daily inspection and maintenance on backhoe, broom tractor, paver and roller, and other supporting equipment to complete required inspection checklist for CDL equipment; train to operate main controls and ground controls for the district milling machine and asphalt paver; perform traffic control
flagging operations to control flow of traffic to protect workers, general public and equipment; assist other district/county crews as needed; assist supporting counties with asphalt placement, traffic control, and equipment coordination as needed; perform other duties as directed by District Roadway Engineer.

Schedule:
You will be working Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00.
