Wages/Salary: The agencies hiring range is a minimum of 24,780.00 and a maximum of 38,975.00.

Requirements:

You need a 10th grade education and three and one-half (3.5) years of related trades experience; or an approved acceptable eqivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations; a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. (NOTE): This position requires a valid Class "A" Commercial Dirver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However, applicants without a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License are available.

Job Description:

You will serve as a lead person of a sign erection crew in the installation of new roadway signs and the replacement of existing signs; keeps inventory of signs in stock and future needs of signs and necessary related materials. Completes daily paperwork of signs erected or repaired and completes Daily Work Report; enter this information in HMMS on the computer in the absence of sign supervisor. Operates dump trucks and sign truck as needed during normal operations; Weed eat around signs ahead of mowing crew; operate a dump truck with snow plow or sand spreader during ice and snow; perform miscellaneous duties as required and requested by
supervisor. Operates chain saw to clear trees and limbs off road and right-of-way. You will need to act as a back-up driver for asphalt distributor that delivers emulsion district wide for patching operations; perform duties in erecting and maintaining barricades for detours on any road as necessary.

Schedule:
You will be working full time, Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00.
