Wages/Salary: State Salary Range: $22,625-$41,866 Annually

Requirements:

A 10th grade education and three and one-half (3.5) years of related trades experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.

A valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. (NOTE): This position requires a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However, applicants without a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License are available.

Job Description:

Operates combination front-end loader and backhoe to clean out drainage ditches and to install sideline and cross line pipe. Operates motor graders in ditching, shoulder operations, grinding and machining roads, driveway installation or snow and ice removal. Assumes foreman's duties and responsibilities during their absence. Operates tandem dump truck in hauling materials and equipment to job sites. Operates dump truck with spreader/plow attachment during snow ice removal operations. Operates the Jet Vac system to flush dirt and debris from pipes and other drainage systems. Performs other related job duties as requested by supervisor.
