Wages/Salary: $24,881.00 - $46,033.00 Annually
A high school diploma and four and one-half (4.5) years of related trades experience; or anapproved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A valid commercial driver's license. (Note): This position requires a commercial driver's license.However, applicants without a commercial driver's license will be considered if no qualified applicants with a commercial driver's license are available. However, applicants are required to obtain a commercial driver's license within six (6) months of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Supervisory Experience.
Under general supervision, operates district's milling machine in coordination with District Roadway Engineer and supporting counties. Assists other district crews as needed. Performs daily inspections and maintenance of milling machine and supporting equipment. Operates CDL Class A combination vehicle to transport equipment and materials. Assists supporting counties with asphalt placement, traffic control, and equipment coordination as needed. Performs other related job duties as required by supervisor.
