PTC Employees Celebrate Service Milestones

PTC Librarian Yvonne Hudgens and Director of Campus Police and Security Terry Ledford both reached a pinnacle at Piedmont Technical College when they were recognized for 40 years of service to the state and college. President Ray Brooks recognized them and 28 other employees who have reached a years-of-service milestone at a luncheon on April 23.

In addition to Hudgens and Ledford, the following employees were recognized for their years of service:

  • 30 years:  Gregg Smith, information technology support technician, and Bryan Vaughn, trades specialist in maintenance
  • 20 years:  Ann Andrews, receptionist in Continuing Education; Vickie Baldwin, program manager for computer skills; Kelly Bannister, application analyst; Brenda Brooks, development coordinator; Cindy Klauck, dean for counseling and career planning; Bobby Roche, program director for building construction technology; and Geneva Tate, circulation manager.
  • 10 years:  Angel Alexander, administrative office technology instructor; Josh Black, vice president for Student Affairs and Communications; Ray Brooks, president; Menka Brown, department head for Business/Administrative Office Technology; Ruthie Buist, program director for Veterinary Technology; Darrin Campen, associate vice president for Academic Affairs, Off Campus; Tara Gonce, dean of Health Care; Brad Griggs, dean of Arts and Sciences; Eric Hawthorne, director of Information Technology Support; Wendy Hughes, controller; Rhonda Hull, instructor, Early Care and Education; Karen Larson, instructor, Nursing; Hope Martin, admissions counselor; Catherine Terry, instructor, Sociology; Nita Staley-Abney, department head, Social Sciences; Danny Stovall, instructor, Mechatronics Technology; Hunter Thompson, inventory manager; Cami Westall, instructor, History; and Elizabeth Wilson, instructor, Nursing.
