PTC mechanical engineering technology graduates to benefit from transfer agreement with Indiana State University

Piedmont Technical College (PTC) and Indiana State University recently signed an agreement that will facilitate the transfer of PTC mechanical engineering technology graduates seeking undergraduate degrees in the same field.

“The agreement with Indiana State University provides a seamless pathway for PTC engineering graduates, allowing them to continue their education with ease and confidence,” said PTC Engineering and Industrial Technology Dean Christina Knight. “This partnership ensures that their hard-earned credits are recognized, accelerating their journey toward advanced knowledge and career opportunities in the field of engineering.”

Under terms of what is known as an articulation agreement, PTC mechanical engineering technology graduates can take online courses that should enable them to earn an undergraduate degree from Indiana State University in two years.

Established in 1865, Indiana State University is a public institution based in Terre Haute, Indiana. The university offers over 100 undergraduate majors and more than 75 graduate and professional programs. It has more than 8,000 undergraduate and post-graduate students.
