Patient Care Tech

The Patient Care Technician program is a multi-skilled field where you will find opportunities for growth and advancement. The training combines knowledge and skills mastered in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings that are required for caring for patients in various health care settings. Students will develop strong communication and clerical skills as necessary for the continuity of patient care. As a Patient Care Technician student, you will have the opportunity to become certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant, EKG Technician, and Phlebotomist as well as a PCT. Upon successful completion of this portion of the program, students will be eligible for the CNA certification exam and may continue to progress to the next course. *Background Check, drug screen required and immunizations are required prior to registration.
