A high school diploma and 3 yrs relevant experience. An Associate's degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

-Bachelor's degree and one year related financial aid experience.

-Excellent customer service skills.

-Ability to operate effectively in an environment that is heavily regulated.

Job Description:

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

In this challenging role, you will support the Financial Aid department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following:

-Run all necessary processes for student financial aid data exchanged between GTC and the U.S. Department of Education. This includes many processes that pull in FAFSA data, assign students' Cost of Attendance, and notify students of documents needed to complete verification.

-Package student financial aid awards and create transmittal files to Business Office. Send out award letters.

-Perform day to day Satisfactory Academic Progress duties, end of term SAP processing, and SAP appeal process.

-Run daily processes to update student information. This includes processes monitoring classes within students' academic major and notifying students of classes that fall outside their major.

-Perform other duties, as assigned.
