Eaton?s Power Distribution and Control Assembly Division ? Greenwood, South Carolina facility, has an opening for a Accounting Manager position. Responsibilities include: Coordinates all financial reporting and accounting within the Department. Verifies the accuracy of the work performed by accounting personnel, and insures their adherence to prescribed schedules, policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:
A. Coordinates all financial reporting and accounting within the Department. Verifies the accuracy of the work performed
by accounting personnel, and insures their adherence to prescribed schedules, policies and procedures.
B. Assists with preparation of and analyzes financial forecasts as required for both the Divisional and Corporate levels.
C. Oversees the development of the product cost estimates and the preparation of standard cost updates.
D. Oversees the accuracy, correctness and timeliness of financial transactions affecting the General Ledger accounting system (ORACLE). Reviews and verifies all journal entry transactions.
E. Provides guidance, training and assistance to the personnel in the accounting department. Performs annual performance reviews for direct reports.
F. Assists with the preparation of our long-term financial plans, annual budgets and capital plans.
G. Reviews reconciliation of inventories to their detail and audits the accuracy of the inventory detail. Assists with the Annual Physical Inventory and Reconciliation.
H. Oversees the processing of invoice payment and reconciliation of Accounts Payable (21020).
I. Oversees the preparation and accuracy of factory payroll.
J. Review Balance Sheet
Accounts for accuracy and performs periodic balance sheet reviews with subordinates.
K. Prepares cost/benefit analysis of major expenditures for capital assets, new product developments,
leases, etc.
L. Assists the Plant Controller with special projects as required.
