A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience. A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license.

Job Description:

Uploads documentation such as erosion reports, enters sample and certification logs to ProjectWise software as required. Assists the Resident Construction Engineer in all personnel matters for the office. Prepares all related forms for new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations. Orients new hires and advises them of the state group benefits. Keeps abreast of changes in policies and procedures and informs all necessary personnel. Maintains filing system for personnel, correspondence and construction projects, including setting up new files and removing and storing old files. Responsible for office equipment maintenance and repairs. Obtains and provides information concerning construction projects for public as well as Department personnel. Receives telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner and refers them expeditiously to the proper individual. Uses the SCEIS system, reviews and verifies employees time and leave for accuracy. Executes Missing Time and Collision Reports on weekly basis to identify discrepancies. Reviews and verifies employees mileage to ensure consistency with time charges to projects. Enters mileage reports monthly into STARS system. Completes shopping carts and purchase orders in SCEIS system. Ensures purchasing and bid procedures are in accordance with Department procurement procedures. Purchases materials less than $3,000 with State Procurement Card. Performs duties of requisitioning, receiving and storing supplies for entire office. Tracks and monitors federal requirements in relation to contractor's certified payrolls, DBE goals, and Stage Type Inspections, as designated in project contracts. Maintains office supplies and orders as needed. Keeps supply closet in a neat and orderly manner. Enters Certifications and Samples into SiteManager and into ProjectWise Software. Notifies inspectors when items are deficient. Processes estimates and uploads to Sharepoint. Performs other related duties as assigned by Resident Construction Engineer.
