A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history. Employees must be able to handle multiple tasks and complex administrative activities and maintain accurate, confidential records. Knowledge of computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and some desktop publishing are essential and accompanied by the expectation to acquire other skills on the job. Must be able to work well with people, have good interpersonal skills to receive visitors and answer calls, take and distribute minutes of meetings in a timely manner, and accurately prepare reports and correspondence. Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor's degree. Job Description:

Performs administrative duties under the supervision of the College of Business Dean. Continuously supports faculty and students in the conduct of academic advising activities. Trains, monitors, and assigns advisors. Maintains student academic records, produces and submits forms to support student needs, and advises course scheduling to support student progress. Adapts performance to accommodate changes in student enrollment. Produces college catalog revisions, reports, and related materials. Monitors and submits requests for web page updates. Attends and supports student events and recognition efforts including the Lander Business Leadership Symposium, Lander Applied Business Seminars, College of Business Executive-in-Residence Program, Dean's List postings, and Beta Gamma Sigma activities. Attends College of Business meetings and retreats. Serves on the Student and Faculty Recognition Committee and the Curriculum Assessment, Management, and Improvement Committee to take minutes. Reports to the Dean of the College of Business. Performs other duties as required by the Dean and is called upon to cover duties of other staff during times of absence or leave.

University Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
Position Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
