Wages/Salary: The state salary range is from $21,063.00 to $38,975.00, annually. The agencies minimum hiring range is $22,327 and the maximum is $38,975.

Requirements:

You will need a high school diploma and two (2) years related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. You will also need a valid motor vehicle operator?s license. You will need experience with the South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Job Description:

You will perform duties as the procurement specialist at Lexington Maintenance; processes procurements; job bulletin for supplies and contract work through the SCEIS computer system; ensure purchases are in accordance with Departmental procurement regulations and present contracts; process invoices for payment within a timely manner; order office supplies and ensures supplies are received; answer telephone in professional manner; takes messages, complaints, and work
orders for road damage and repair. You will use county road map to locate problem area and directs work to respective supervisor for that area; receive and relay messages via mobile radio; greet and assist general public and county officials; assist the office manager in areas of administrative duties including new hire paperwork, employees? time and leave, personnel files, maintenance of correspondences, reports, records, etc. Disseminates information to employees concerning changes in departmental rules and regulations, insurance, and other
benefits; assist in entering work orders in computer through HMMS system; contact local PUPS to request location of utility lines to prevent damage to phone or cable lines while road work is being performed; perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Schedule:
You will work from Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00.
