Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree, or high school diploma plus two years’ related work experience.  Requires the ability to type at a corrected rate of 35 wpm and basic knowledge of computer operations.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree in a related field plus three years’ of related experience, or high school diploma plus five years’ related work experience is preferred.

Job Description:

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:           

The administrative specialist serves as receptionist and primary cashier for the facility and is responsible for providing administrative/clerical support services and day-to-day operational support for the Campus Director and personnel at the SCC Union County Campus.  Responsible for providing students and potential students with support in a variety of functional areas to include, testing, admissions, financial aid, registration, and student services.  Serve as campus liaison for all SCC Central Campus classes, functions, and activities.  Additionally, provides support to the Director of Adult Education in managing Adult Education Budget.

Schedule:
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday
(1 hour lunch)
8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Friday
