Requirements:

A high school diploma and two (2) years of experience that is directly related to the area of
employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources
Regulations.
A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.

Job Description:

Performs all phases of roadway inspection to ensure that construction meets the standard
specifications: clearing and grubbing right of way; rough and fine grading; placement of pipe
and drainage structures; construction of concrete curb and gutter and sidewalks; compaction of
embankments and subgrades; placement of base course; placement of asphalt and bituminous
surfacing; grassing, placement of guardrail, and other miscellaneous items. Complies and
records information for daily diary, monthly construction reports and prepares monthly
construction estimates. Samples construction materials. Obtains job control samples. Performs
aggregate gradation analysis. Performs related duties as requested.

Schedule:
JOB TYPE: FTE - Full-Time
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
