Requirements:

Bachelor Degree preferred, but will accept an Associate Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting with 1-2 years working experience in accounting, budget preparation and fixed assets.

Knowledge of accounting and payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Description:

To develop, prepare, implement and monitor all department budgets including modifications. Assist with payroll activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

1. Formulate with Program Directors all program budgets based on funding sources, prepare budgets, and review with Chief Financial Officer.

2. Monitor and report budget monthly and report findings to funding sources, Program Directors, and Chief Financial Officer.

3. Prepare modifications to program budget with Program Directors as necessary.

4. Monitor agency asset inventory and calculate depreciation.

5.  Check account codes and approve purchase requisitions against availability of funds.

6. Assist with payroll preparation, workforce timekeeping and documentation as needed

7. Performs other duties as required.
