CNC Milling Center Operator

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:
Strong math skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to use tape measure and have good basic math skills in order to fill out production network.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Other skills and abilities:
Must understand computers, electrical, and electronic systems; strong blueprint reading skills. Must have understanding of machining principles, be mechanically inclined; good attention to detail.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); work in high, precarious places
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); technical school desired; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with CNC equipment desired.
