A. Basic familiarity with the Production Reporting process in a manufacturing environment.
i. Ability to read and create process flow charts
ii. Experience with Production Reporting interfaces (e.g. HMI, SAP or other ERP)

B. Manipulation of Production Reporting data as it relates to:
i. Rate
ii. Yield
iii. OEE

C. Experience in the use of the following development tools/languages
i. Asp.net web-forms based applications using vb.net or C#
ii. Visual studio using Visual SourceSafe for multi-programmer code integrity
iii. SQL database development/management, SQL Server 2005 and later

D. An understanding of:
i. MS Office VBA code, primarily Excel- and Access-based
ii. Interfacing VBA with SQL using ActiveX Data Objects (ADO)
iii. VB6, VB5

Job Description:

DESCRIPTION:
Contract programming position that will focus on developing and implementing performance tracking tools and automated mistake-proofing at the Simpsonville plant. Length of assignment - 2 years.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop, pilot, debug, and implement performance tracking tools for all extrusion processes in the Simpsonville plant. Key performance indicator will be Overall Equipment Effectiveness.

2. Improve performance tracking tools for converting and press manufacturing process groups in the Simpsonville plant. Initial KPI tools were developed in Excel. Look to migrate into web-based design.

3. Create electronic verification process for resin traceability in the extrusion areas.

4. Support automation of mistake proofing through the Simpsonville plant.
