Minimum Requirements: A bachelor’s degree and experience in student service programs A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Detailoriented organizational skills. Good personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office and social media. Experience with event planning and working with teams. Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills. Social media experience. Ability to exercise good decision-making skills. Ability to build relationships.
The Coordinator of Student Life and Special Events is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of a comprehensive, student centered program of campus activities. The position will lead, develop, and implement large special events and assist in other University sponsored events by the Department of Student Life in collaboration with other university and community partners. This position will assist in the oversight of student organizations and student facility coordination. The position will be report to the Associate Director of Student Life.
Position Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
