A Bachelor’s degree and experience in student services programs. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. Must have ability to effectively plan and organize work activities and prioritize task completion according to schedules and goals. Strong written and oral communication skills are needed.
(Preferred) Master's Degree and experience in student service programs. General knowledge of Banner database and StarRez processes preferred.
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Housing Business Operations and Assignments, the Customer Relations and Specialized Assignments Coordinator provides customer and administrative support both internally and externally for the Department of Housing and Residence Life. Provides customer support for current and potential resident students and various university stakeholders. Organizes, plans, and administers assignments for students requiring specific housing accommodations including but not limited to: student athletes, international students, ADA accommodations, and Living-Learning Communities. Coordinates coverage for the central Housing Office front desk and serves in an administrative capacity by relaying departmental voice-mails and maintaining an adequate inventory of office supplies and housing keys.
37.5 work hours per week. To include some nights and weekends.
