Department Marketing Statement
We are looking for Engineering Majors for our Internship Program for 2019 to work at the Urquhart Steam Plant in Beech Island, SC.
This program offers a dynamic and accelerated work experience that prepares you to compete for entry-level, professional positions upon graduation, and provides you with skill-building work during the summer months of May to August.
The program’s goal is to attract, develop, and retain high-potential college students.
Upon graduation and after successfully completing the program, you may be eligible for consideration into a SCE&G core business.
Qualifications
Completed the first year of a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university or 2-year college transfer program from an ABET Accredited Program.
Degree must be in an Engineering field
Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Availability to work from May 2019 to August 2019
Previous experience as an intern with SCE&G is preferred.
