Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in engineering and six (6) months of related work experience; or a bachelor's degree in engineering technology and two and one-half (2.5) years of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid motor vehicle operator's license.

Job Description:

Assists with performing project management and inspection duties as needed; including
earthwork, asphalt and concrete inspection, as well as, Site Manager data entry. Supervises and trains technicians performing highway construction inspection. Performs surveying duties with equipment and software to verify contractor's line and grade. Monitors project QA/QC, erosion control and traffic control activities for compliance with approved plans. Performs project closeout duties. Serves as the agency's representative when meeting with contractors, general public, property owners and utility company representatives in answering questions, resolving disputes and satisfying complaints. Performs other related duties as required.

Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)- Full-Time
