Wages/Salary: $48,622.00 - $89,956.00 Annually

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology and four and one-half (4.5) years of engineering work experience, which must include journey-level engineering work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A master's degree in engineering and two and one-half (2.5) years of entry-level engineering work experience may be substituted for the required experience.

A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License is required.  

 

Job Description:

Assists the District Construction Engineer and the Assistant District Construction Engineer in managing district construction activities. Reviews and analyzes CPM schedules submitted on construction projects. Utilizes engineering and construction experience to provide comments and coordinates with RCEs concerning the CPM work activities, logic resources, float and cash flow for the baseline and updated schedules each month. Serves on the District Quality Management team in review of construction projects for compliance with Department standards. Provides project oversight on large projects and provides project management to project specific consultant inspection/project management staffs. Produces and maintains database of active projects and their status in the district. Meets with public and elected officials concerning project related issues. Performs related duties as required.
