Requirements:

must posess a valid SC drivers license and be drug free.
ACI and NICET certificates a plus, but not manditory.
This a construction oriented job and candidate must be able to pick up and carry 50 pounds 50 feet.

Job Description:

2nd year student or near graduate to perform engineering testing (Quality Control and Quality Assurance) on new construction projects in the Greenwood area. Work will include taking Concrete, Grout, and Mortar samples at the project site, perform compaction testing of soils, checking vertical steel in the foundations and walls during construction. Initial work will be in the Greenwood area (through December 2009) with the potential to continue additional time in Greenwood area. Some work in the Greenville, SC Office. Currently have positions for up to 2 candidates.

Schedule:
Work schedules at the sites will vary; willing to work around school schedules for potential long term candidates. Some overtime required (especially in the summer). Very few weekend work required, however, there may be a need for an occasional Saturday.
