State Requirements: A high school diploma and experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, sales or marketing, or processing of information in a data processing environment or related systems. An associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience.
Job Responsibilities
This position is located with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, Beckman Center for Mental Health Services. This position is based in the Administrative Office in Greenwood but will provide services throughout the Center's catchment area.
Under limited supervision, this position will work independently and in partnership to assure all aspects of Information Technology Management for a seven county system. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting Lead System Administrator with hardware and software installation, network control and maintenance of IT system and equipment, hardware and software applications, user assistance and training, information management applications, and other duties as requested.
