Wages/Salary: The state salary range is from $31,182 to $44,438.
You will need to have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field and one (1) year related work experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, sales or marketing, or processing of information in an information technology environment; or Associate degree in computer science, computer technology, or related field and three (3) years experience in office automation systems, data communications systems design, installation, operation, repair, sales or marketing, or processing of information in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, sales or marketing, or processing of information in an information technology environment; or High school diploma and five (5) years experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, sales or marketing, or processing of information in an information technology environment.
You will serve as an IT support manager by supervising and administering all computers for the College; provide computer hardware/software and technical support for all computers campus wide; troubleshoot and resolve technical problems associated with the computer hardware and software using a variety of testing tools and techniques; manage ISM Help Desk work requests including logging, tracking, and completion of work tickets to ensure requests are completed accurately and in a timely manner; identify computer and multimedia resource needs throughout campus and communicate to management; provide technical support to end-users regarding computer and multimedia related hardware and software; train users in various software applications and procedures; manage and administer all academic computers in classroom labs and academic offices including faculty/staff application software and hardware; manage and maintain PXE menus, including remote imaging, software and antivirus updates; manage and administer use of two-way video and lecture capture rooms including scheduling needs for all computer and multimedia equipment; supervise, hire, select, schedule, train, evaluate, coach, and manage the daily operations of all IT support team members; coordinate project implementation plans with staff members, users, vendors, management and other key personnel to ensure that procedures are properly tested, approved, and documented, and ensure strategic plans are met including keeping Microsoft campus agreements up to date and downloading software as needed; develop and implement computer and multimedia usage and maintenance policies and procedures; prepare and maintain all computer and multimedia related technical documentation; manage all routine activities such as pushing out updates and preparing control records; other duties as assigned, including attending campus-wide meetings and activities and monthly/annual reporting as requested by the ISM Director.
