Wages/Salary: $48,000 – $ 57,000 annually DOE
Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in an information technology network and telecommunication environment. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must possess excellent technical skills working with network topology, design, and related support efforts. Demonstrated working knowledge of network equipment (e.g., switches, network cables, access points, etc.) and cabling installation and maintenance. Demonstrated working knowledge and experience of managing PBX systems and platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Should possess excellent time management, judgment and analytical skills. Must be able to prepare technical reports and documentations. Ability to establish effective working relationships with faculty, staff, and students.
Under limited supervision provides network and telecommunication support through configuration, deployment, and maintenance of (wi-fi) wireless access points and related network and telecommunication equipment. Provides general network tasks and related support as directed by supervisors.
Position Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
To include some nights, weekend and on call work
