Wages/Salary: The state salary range is $25,627 to $36,520.
You will need Bachelor?s degree in computer science, information technology or related field; or associate?s degree in computer science, computer technology, or related field plus two (2) years of experience in the support and troubleshooting of data communications equipment, office automation systems, processing of information or installation of hardware or software; or high school diploma plus four (4) years of experience in the support and troubleshooting of data communications equipment, office automation systems, processing of information or installation of hardware or software. You need experience in a library setting working directly with patrons and circulation and/or reference experience.
You will need to maintain library?s computers and equipment, as well as provide computer assistance and high quality circulation and reference services for faculty, staff, students and community patrons both on-campus and off-campus in an online environment. Assist librarians in areas such as webpage maintenance, online research guide creation, as well as with reports and statistics. In addition, duties include managing the Overdues/fine System, serving as liaison with faculty, staff, students and off-campus patrons, and conducting a variety of general library duties.
