Job Description:

Whitten Center, located in Clinton, SC is a residential facility of the SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs. The center serves residents of all ages with developmental disabilities.

Daily visits with consumers, which includes assessing health status, keeping Medical Providers informed of same, documenting all pertinent data. Administers/documents all medication and treatments and observes/records response, is aware of side effects and reports any reactions to Medical Providers. Performs nursing procedures and treatments as ordered by medical providers. Maintains documentation as needed. Serves as a health care resource person. Provides instruction to other staff and to consumers. Monitors nutrition, personal hygiene and infection control measures.

Schedule:
1st shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m./ 6:30am-3:00pm 2nd shift: 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. 3rd shift: 10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (days rotate--includes weekends)
