Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma/GED Required.
Apprentice certificate, Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Minimum five years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment.
Previous experience in injection molding preferred.
Previous experience with CNC machining tools.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, programmable controller problems and CNC controls.
Essential Functions
Maintain equipment in optimal operating condition.
Perform and track preventative maintenance activities with computer software.
Assist assigned area in trouble shooting and repairing equipment.
Assure proper inventory levels of required replacement parts for all equipment.
Assist in equipment PMs as recommended by manufacturer.
Follow all prescribed internal and manufacturer maintenance procedures.
Assist in implementing process improvement changes.
Communicate production and quality issues/concerns with associates and supervision whenever necessary.
Participate in team problem solving activities.
Adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e.: Quality Manual, Associate Handbook, etc.).
Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas.
Maintain high standards of workmanship.
Possess and utilize personal hand tools to complete these duties.
Strong diversified background in electrical, mechanical, electronic, plumbing and pneumatic systems.
The incumbent must be able to troubleshoot a variety of complex mechanical / electrical equipment in order to determine reason(s) for malfunctioning.
Good manual dexterity, the ability to work with both hand and power tools in a safe manner.
Ability to work within time constraints to accomplish a given maintenance task.
Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and as a team member with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Works with blueprints, wiring schematics, sketches, equipment service manuals, sample parts and general instructions.
General machining skills are required such as lathes, mills, surface grinders, welding a definite plus.
Ability to independently carry out projects, ending with high quality results.
Maintains adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
This is a Full-time position
6:00 a.m. ? 4:30 p.m./4:30 p.m. - 5:00 a.m., Monday-Friday, core work hours
Flexible hours to be available
Must be available to work weekends when requested from Maintenance Supervisor.
