In this role you will be accountable for:
- Assembling all types of pump equipment to customer, OEM and industry standard specifications
- Disassembling equipment to gain access remove, clean and inspect components
- Inspecting & recording component measurements using instruments, tools and gages and providing inspection report
- Investigating and determining root cause failure
- Determining proper materials for repairs as per BOM
- Contouring impellers and pump casings to meet hydraulic requirements
- Setting and operating dynamic balancing equipment
- Performing final testing and inspections
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Analytical and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Extensive knowledge of and ability to use hand tools, precision measuring and testing equipment and machine shop equipment
- Minimum five (5) years of pump repair experience
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to travel to and work at customer sites
- Ability to work overtime
