Requirements:

High School diploma or GED with 5 years administrative work experience, OR an Associate Degree with 3 years of administrative work experience. Must possess a valid SC driver?s license. Prefer experience working in an animal health care facility. Must demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft WORD and Excel; effective communications skills (reading and writing); ability to problem solve; excellent customer service skills; ability to handle domestic cats and dogs in the care, feeding, intake and daily processing, and other shelter support needs. Ability to perform manual work, heavy lifting, and may encounter strong odors.

Job Description:

This position will provide administrative support to the Animal Shelter and hands-on help with the care and treatment of the animals and facility as needed. Must be able to effectively deal with the physical and emotional demands of animal health care.
