Requirements:

A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
Knowledge of Computer Aided Dispatch System (CAD) and Mobile Computer Terminal (MCT). Must be able to maintain SLED/NCIC/CAD certification. Must have basic computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Job Description:

Provide technical support, troubleshoot problems, and perform general system maintenance to the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system and Mobile Computer Terminals (MCT). Ensure all issues are resolved and system is maintained and kept up-to-date with all system software required updates.
Develop CAD Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) ensuring that procedures comply with all applicable DPS and CALEA requirements. Ensure statewide CAD standardization for all CAD users.
Create, modify, and archive all DPS CAD user accounts as needed. Ensure that all accounts are issued the appropriate user rights and privileges and are assigned to the correct personnel group within the system.
Create and manage user accounts for all DPS personnel for Mobile Computer Terminals (MCT). Ensure all users are up-to-date on NCIC certifications.
Maintain agency radio call number list. Assign and/or update all DPS radio call numbers within the CAD and MCT software.
Assists the TAC and TCC personnel as needed with FOIA requests by providing all information stored within the CAD system.

Schedule:
Non-traditional work hours and/or overnight travel may be required.
