Requirements:
  • Complete Phase 1 Pre-construction objectives
  • Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans, conferring with management
  • Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, contract scope, and performance standards
  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
  • Generate and deliver to the operations team appropriate scopes, plans, layouts, and other jobs pertinent information
  • Produce electrical estimates to ensure all bill of materials are ready for ordering by the project manager

Education:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in a related field a plus, but not required
Job Description:

Vankirk Electric is a leading national electrical contractor specializing in all phases of multi-family electrical construction. Projects range in size from garden style 100 unit complexes to high rise, high density, 800 unit projects.

The Project Administrator will have previous knowledge and experience with the following skills:

  •  Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  •  Bluebeam Revu a plus
  •  CAD/drawing software a plus
  •  Exceptional documentation skills
  •  Highly self-motivated and directed
  •  Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  •  Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills
  •  Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  •  Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening
