Requirements:

ASRC Federal was recently awarded a new contract supporting the Defense Health Agency in Charleston, SC and Reston, VA.  We will grow your skills by promoting certifications in areas such as Oracle, Security+ and more.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (MIS, IT, etc.)
  • Three (3) to seven (7) years of related work experience
  • Ability to Obtain Certification in a Software Development Computing Environment or ability to obtain one (eg:  Oracle Certified or RHEL for example)
  •  US Citizenship required and eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain a Security+CE or equivalent in order to meet the DOD 8570 IAT Level II requirements
  • Experience and/or knowledge in designing, developing and debugging with Java, J2EE, and/or C++ and C#, .NET
  • Experience developing in a Linux environment (Red Hat preferred)
  • Understanding of PL/SQL stored procedures
  • Ability to troubleshoot code ad propose improvements as well as work with a team in a matrixed environment with the ability to multi-task
  • Any exposure to automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet or Chef is desired
