Applicants must have an upbeat, outgoing nature and be able to react to customer questions and concerns spontaneously. You must be able to interact enthusiastically with customers over the phone, in an articulate manner. You must be comfortable “cold calling” customers. Must have reliable transportation. Previous telemarking or sales experience, while valuable, is not necessary. Training for services, equipment, and general sales will be provided

Job Description:

This position is responsible for generating sales prospects for burglar alarm systems and security monitoring products/services for residential and commercial businesses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prospect for and develop new residential & commercial accounts via cold calling
Schedule security review of prospective customer location
Complete all necessary paperwork and communicate all necessary information to sales staff
Provide service support to customers including scheduling of sales and service calls when requested and following up on the satisfaction of the customer after completion
Meet individual sales appointment goals while meeting standards of professional conduct and attire
Other duties as assigned by management

Schedule:
Hours will typically be 4 hour shifts from 10-2 and 4-8 but may vary at the discretion of management.
