Trains in the operation of boom-mowers, tilting frame slope mowers and bat wing mowers.Trains in the operation of AMZ patching machine which is used for paving, patching repairs to base and pavement on roads, driveways, crossovers, turn lanes, parking areas and bridge approaches. Performs other related job duties as requested or assigned by supervisor. Trains in the operation of tandem ten-wheel dump truck, 5 to 10 yard standard dump truck, and flatbed truck for hauling materials including asphalt, limestone, dirt, soil, cement, pipe, construction materials and debris. Flags traffic during road repairs to control flow of traffic to protect workers, general public and equipment. Operates standard dump truck with snow plow attachment and sand spreader to remove snow and ice from highways and bridges. Trains in the operation of front-end loader in the loading of materials needed for maintenance operations,earth materials, clay, sand and aggregate. Trains to operate heavier equipment combination front-end loader and backhoe, asphalt distributor, tractor trailer. Operates chain saw in cutting trees on right-of-way.
