You will need an associate's degree + 4 yrs directly related experience, to include 1 yr in a supervisory capacity; or High school diploma + 6 yrs directly relatedexperience, to include 1 yr in a supervisory capacity. You will also need HVAC Universal EPA certification with 5 years of facility maintenance supervisory experience; valid SC driver's license.

Job Description:

In this challenging role, you will support the Facility Resources department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following: -Supervise maintenance activities at assigned campuses: Brashier, Greer, Northwest, and Donaldson Center. -Conduct facility assessments to determine the need for and issue work orders for Trade Specialist IV personnel; physically inspect all building systems on his or her campuses: roof, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical; monitor work quality, attendance, and on-call rotation of assigned personnel and grant annual leave; provide a good working relationship with all campus directors, faculty, and staff; maintain HVAC systems: changing filters, replacing belts, adjusting room temperatures and lubricating motors. -Assist with campus renovations as needed - erect/demo walls, demo/install doors, lighting and ceiling tile; participate in training required by OSHA and the college or state to upgrade skills and overall knowledge; read e-mail notices, memorandums and check GTC4Me web page to stay informed of college policies and procedures; provide input to maintenance director for performance appraisals of assigned personnel. Schedule:
You will be working 40 hours a week; Monday through Thursday 7AM to 4PM and on Fridays 7AM to 1PM.
