Requirements:

A high school diploma and seven and one-half (7.5) years of related trades experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. (NOTE): This position requires a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However, applicants without a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License are available.

Job Description:

Plans, organizes, instructs, and supervises foremen in all phases of Newberry County
maintenance operations in accordance with Department procedures, rules and regulations. Checks and consults with foremen and work crews during each working day. Reviews daily, weekly, or monthly reports, time sheets, and cost records; recommends personnel actions including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures; rates employees yearly according to the EPMS. Communicates with local officials, administrators, and public investigating field complaints. Contacts property owners who have requests, complaints, and/or damages. Recommends to supervisor necessary action to be taken. Utilizes HMMS program to enter data
regarding work requests and maintains level of completion. Checks data entered by foremen and compiles daily and monthly reports of the same. Performs other related maintenance duties as required including on-call as needed for supervising or performing on-call operations.

Schedule:
FTE - Full-Time, Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
