Wages/Salary: $9.42/hour
High school diploma and 6-12 months of working experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Prior work as a Lifeguard or in a water park environment preferred but not necessary. Must possess a valid Lifeguard, or Shallow Water Lifeguard Certificate from a nationally recognized training organization. Must possess a valid CPR, First Aid, and AED certification from a nationally recognized training organization.
Seasonal position through mid-September. Up to 40 hours a week ? weekend availability required.
Duties: Under limited supervision is responsible for supervision, safety, and general operation of the Waterfall Junction water play area and Children?s Garden portion of Riverbanks Zoo. Monitors guests and facilities to ensure rules and policies are enforced. Maintains a high level of customer service at all times. Reports to the Attractions Supervisor.
