Job Description:

The Park Wholesale Manager reports directly to the Director of Merchandising. This is a pivotal leadership role, gaining commitment and expertise from the senior management team and others to ensure that their business objectives are exceeded and company philosophy is fully supported

The Wholesale manager will have immediate challenges around building a solid foundation for growth and putting in structures and systems to monitor and improve effectiveness in every area. This is primarily a hands-on role ? to lead, coach, manage and motivate the sales team to exceed their revenue targets.

? Develop and deliver a robust Sales plan to ensure that ambitious growth plans are met in terms of highly profitable revenue that exceed minimum order and margin values
? Adapt plan as necessary in line with internal and external challenges and opportunities, to ensure maximum revenue and profitability
? Manage the implementation of the Sales plan through building a highly professional, polished and results oriented team
? Champion professional sales behaviors across the sales team and develop effective customer relationship management programs.
? Work alongside the team ? selling manager; ownership of key customer accounts
? Maintain and develop strong vendor relationships.
? Manage the development of four catalogs including the catalog pagination, determination of product selling prices, product discount structure and sales program details.
? Improve the effectiveness of the sales team through the creation and adoption of excellent sales approaches and processes including:
o Targeting and winning new accounts
o Customer relationship planning and management
o Forecasting, monitoring and measuring sales results and managing the generation of assigned reports
o Initiating and directing product training seminars for sales team
o Managing and selecting trade shows
o Assigning sales territory responsibilities
o Developing sales promotions and customer sales incentives
o Constant performance review and improvement
o Produce and manage performance standards ? daily/weekly/monthly
