MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma; or 10th grade equivalency + 1 yr related work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Three years relative work experience, to include at least one year irrigation installation and maintenance and/or one year landscape installation and maintenance.
In this challenging role, you will support the Grounds/Property Management department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following:
-Operate all turf and plant equipment in a professional manner.
-Assist with preventive maintenance programs of utilized equipment.
-Assist in installation and maintenance for campus irrigation systems.
-Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides as directed and according to label restrictions/directions.
-Remove litter, debris, and trash daily from assigned areas.
-Keep all hard surfaces debris free and safe for the public.
-Provide labor for projects, renovations, landscaping, and installations.
-Assist other departments as necessary.
-Serve on committees as needed.
