Wages/Salary: The state salary range is from $25,627.00 to $47,413.00 Annually. The agency hiring minimum range is $28,832.00 and the maximum range is $35,000.00.

Requirements:

An associate degree and three (3) years of related financial experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations; a bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for two (2) years of the required work experience; excel experience.SAP (SCEIS) experience.

Job Description:

Enters account information for mobile equipment, infrastructure, fixed assets and depreciation into the system and reconcile ledger activity between the legacy system and the financial system of record; enters and/or oversees all new purchases for assets into the system; enters costs for all asset related purchases; reconciles accounting activity to Ledger and CG balances; labels and files reports for future use by Finance and Audit. Attends team, agency and state wide meetings as needed; prepares and distributes worksheets and lists for asset custodian to conduct and submit annual physical equipment listing; annually send lists to each custodian for
verification; assists custodians in problem-solving; maintains verified and signed lists from custodians; maintains and updates SCDOT tables used in asset accounting; performs daily cash receipts reconciliation; prepares and submits adjustments to post and update SCDOT and CG balances when necessary to appropriately modify records. Posts and oversees asset transfers, additions and disposals in the asset system; fields calls and trains users on the assets system; performs other related duties as requested.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00.
