EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Must have a minimum of at least 5-8 years of administrative experience or an equivalent of 10-12 years of relevant experience, including position as an Executive Assistant for a minimum of 2 years.

Community Relationships:
Emphasis on having a good relationship with the community is very important to Ascend. This role will be instrumental in working with the Site Director and HRBP to create an annual Community Relations Budget. In addition, this role will work with key leaders within Ascend on how to ensure the proper utilization of the Ascend Cares program for the GWD site. You will be responsible for managing the continuous incoming requests to Ascend GWD Site for support and/or sponsorships within the community. You must be capable of leading the volunteer program at GWD and participate
Additional volunteer engagement in the community is a real asset.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Administrative Representative responsibilities include making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. Leading the Site Community/Communication Team. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel, Power Point, Word VISO and other types of office equipment. Reports to the Site Director while also supporting the Gwd. Site Leadership Team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

General administrative support including, but not limited to, travel arrangements, interview schedules, calendar management, customer and vendor visits, catering and meeting arrangements

Presentation preparation and editing for Site Director and executive level leadership presentations, as and when needed

Submit and reconcile expense reports

Provide general support to visitors

Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients

Compile monthly business metrics and reports
-
Compile daily, weekly and monthly reporting for Gwd. Site Director and SLT
-
Provide support to the site HR Team, as and when needed

Leads GWD Community Relations/Communications Team

(ACS) Ascend Communication System User for Gwd Site
