A high school diploma and four (4) years of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.

Job Description:

Prepares and maintains routine fiscal records; standard financial reports and payroll for
McCormick Maintenance. Supervises staff to include preparing performance planning and
evaluation documents and related personnel work. Researches, processes and prepares
correspondence and reports expeditiously in a concise and professional manner; files and maintains tracking system of correspondence; responds to letters of a general nature that requires thorough knowledge of Department policies as requested by executive personnel. Coordinates and processes personnel actions for the unit. Serves as a central contact for personnel matters; interprets personnel policies and procedures. Performs activities necessaryfor the requisition, storage, distribution, and inventory control of supplies and equipment in accordance with state and agency policies, procedures and regulations. Supervises nontechnical and clerical personnel in preparing payroll documents, requisitioning supplies and equipment and in the maintenance of business records, related reports and files. Personal secretary and assistant to the Resident Maintenance Engineer. Serves as liaison between Agency management and the general public to provide information and to address concerns.
Plans, assigns and reviews work of subordinate personnel engaged in regular operations of administrative projects. Coordinates the provision of auxiliary services such as printing,maintenance, security, mail, Adopt-A-Highway, and Wellness Program. Acts as a trainer for new computer programs introduced by headquarters in Columbia such as HMMS, PDGS,SPORTS, and STARS.
