Requirements:

A bachelor?s degree and one (1) year related work experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or an associate degree and three (3) years related work experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or a high school diploma and five (5) years related work experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
? Experience working in an executive environment;
? Must possess a mastery of office skills, demonstrate initiative and sound judgment and make decisions within the scope of assigned authority; and
? Extensive knowledge/skills related to proofreading, grammatical rules, spelling, language, and clerical formats coupled with a thorough knowledge of computer-based software programs for document processing are essential.

Job Description:

Provides secretarial and administrative support to the System President, Vice President for Organizational Relations and General Counsel, State Board and the Chair of the SC Technical College System Council of Presidents in planning, prioritizing, coordinating, and organizing a diversified workload. Provides support to the Chair of the Chief Development Officers (CDO) peer group in matters related to the administrative and logistical processes for CDO meetings and events. Coordinates the preparation, production, and distribution of updates/revisions to the State Board Policy Manual. Manages the record retention/disposition for the Office of the System President and maintains the agency copy of the South Carolina Code of Laws. Receives and screens incoming calls and makes appropriate referrals. Drafts and types routine memorandums, letters, reports, minutes, tables, and lists. Receives, screens, and distribute incoming mail.
