Wages/Salary: $32,104.00 - $53,769.00 DOE
Prepares and maintains routine fiscal records; standard financial reports and payroll for McCormick Maintenance. Assists staff by preparing performance planning and evaluation documents and related personnel work including EPMSs. Assists shop foreman and mechanics in procuring parts and supplies by using SCEIS (SAP/Citrix) to process shopping carts, purchase orders and goods receipts. Researches, processes personnel and prepares correspondence and reports expeditiously in a concise and professional manner; files and maintains tracking system of correspondence; responds to letters of a general nature that requires thorough knowledge of Department policies as requested by executive personnel. Coordinates and processes personnel actions for the unit. Serves as a central contact for personnel matters; interprets personnel policies and procedures. Performs activities necessary for the requisition, storage, distribution, and inventory control of supplies and equipment in accordance with state and agency policies, procedures and regulations. Uses Highway Maintenance Management System (HMMS) to add supplies to the stockpile. Assists staff in preparing payroll documents, requisitioning supplies and equipment and in the maintenance of business records, related reports and files. Serves as liaison between Agency management and the general public to provide information and to address concerns. Directly supervises and trains office specialist and/or temporary employees in office duties and various departmental programs. Required to work on 12 hour shifts during inclement weather/emergency conditions and perform administrative duties as needed. Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
A high school diploma and one (1) year of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.
