Requirements:

MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


A high school diploma and five (5) years of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for four (4) years of the related work experience.


A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License is required.

Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Coordinates and processes personnel actions for the unit and serves as a central contact for personnel matters; interprets personnel policies and procedures. Prepares and maintains routine fiscal records; prepares standard financial reports and payroll. Directly supervises and trains office specialist and/or temporary employees in office duties and various departmental programs. Prepares and evaluates employee performance and administers personnel and disciplinary actions. Initiates shopping carts, purchase orders, good receipts and any paperwork necessary for procurement for maintenance purchases for supplies and materials.


Maintains files and records accordingly. Acts as procurement card liaison for office ensuring accurate receipts are on file for all transactions. Performs and directs daily routine administrative duties such as handling telephone requests, receiving and sorting incoming correspondence and compiling data reports as needed. Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
