Job Description:

Performs duties as office receptionist operating radio and telephone. Directs calls to proper parties. Provides information as requested by the public. Assists foremen with obtaining forms they necessary to complete their reports and assists them in Highway Maintenance Management System use. Processes and pays all utility bills and orders office supplies. Assists with procurement, including preparing requisitions, purchase orders, and payment vouchers. Issues and receives all maintenance supplies. Determines quantities of supplies needed and provides list for procurement. Maintains accurate records of maintenance supplies purchased, issued, and in current inventory. Assists office staff during the absence of other administrative personnel answering the telephone, dispatching crews, taking work requests, and performing routine clerical duties. Performs other job related duties as requested or assigned by supervisor. On call, assists in performing office duties including operating two-way radio and answering telephone during snow and ice removal and other emergency operations. Operates and maintains office equipment including scanner, printer, computer, and shredder.
