Job Description:

This position is for technical engineering and clerical activities of the Bamberg Construction Office.
Construction Functions: Performs traffic control inspections and conducts wage regulation interviews and verifies payrolls. Inspects placement of pavement markings and crack seal. Works in survey party recording and reducing survey notes. Assists with sampling materials on construction projects. Plots profiles and cross sections of ditches, roadways and pits. Assists with preparing construction project reports, including monthly construction estimates, asphalt road and plant reports. Manages files for Quality Management Team audits. Data entry in site manager for various construction activities. Assist with project closeouts. Creates change
orders in site manager. Maintains records and monitors CE&I budget for office. Retrieves information for audits.
Clerical and Administrative Duties: Files correspondence, records and reports. Types
letters and reports, prepares bills and compiles reports. Answers telephone and radio calls and refers them appropriately. Maintains inventory and prepares payroll as SCEIS time administrator/purchaser for office. Maintains vehicle service records and schedules training and lodging for employees.Organizes and maintains all credit card receipts for office purchases. Maintains personnel records and new hire process.

Monday - Friday (8:00 - 4:30)/ Full-Time
