A high school diploma and two (2) years of experience that is related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
Acts as inspector on roadway projects. Performs inspection work in at least two or more specialized areas. Maintains project records. Enters or reviews all daily work reports(DWR) on assigned projects . Preforms EEO and wage regulation interviews. Performs all required traffic control (weekly and monthly night time) and erosion control inspections. Verifies the accuracy of the certification and sample logs an assigned projects. Acts as inspector on road projects. Assists in surveying. Checks and verifies all offsets and grades associated with all phases of road construction estimates and as-built plans. Assists the administrative assistant with phones, faxes and customer service as necessary. Performs other related job duties.
